Back to sleeper mode &$*&!

    God ****ing dammit.
    Yesterday morning some jackass decided to not properly secure a load of what I'd assume to be plumbing supples on I-94.
    Then some other ass cuts in front of me on the last second forceing me into whatever it was, all I see is some **** and a pipe with an s-bend.
    Whup, whup, whup. Now I only have 3 SSR Comps with unbent rims. :mad:

    And there are no 17x7.5 antracite comps in my size for sale anywhere, new or used. I have a shop I'm sending them out to fix them, hopefully it will work out.

    Until then, I'm running my winter wheels with my summer tires, which will be fun, as I had some minor roll issues with the widers SSRs.

    Oh well, at least I have a large package coming from racecomp to make my life better.

    No point to the thread, just ranting.

    Word of advice. No matter what your instict tells you, don't swerve from an idiot and be the cause of an accident. Hit the brakes or let them hit you. Let their insurance pay for your rims. Last thing you want to do is to hit someone else.

    Well thats what I did, but insurance won't be paying. $250 deductable, wheel won't cost more than $400 (repair will be under $250), not worth the hassle of a claim.
    Godamn, i wish I'd seen this ******* who droped this on the road. Any tarffic violation that causes property damage is chargeable as a misdemeanor with 90 days, and dammit he'd be paying SSR to make me a new wheel (as it's discontinued) or he'd be doing the full 90. :mad:

    I wish i'd gotten the plate of the guy who swerved into me, causing me to hit this as well.

    Rotating and unsprung weight FTL.
    Added ~10lbs per corner, a bit slower, a bit worse handling, worse ride, and worse braking (noticably so on all). Goddammit.
