    Is there a way to get the back windows on my 08' Legacy to go down all the way? Un-child proof them I guess you could say.

    My 6 cylinder makes 1250 lb/ft of torque.
    Nope.

    The shape of the door won't let them, the wheel arch curve intrudes into where the window would drop.

    aside from that, I think Brian is right - door shape prevents them from going down all the way

    I thought pretty much every four door sedan made these days have the windows that are child proof or whatever they call them.
