my house and cars got absolutley domolished with hail, pretty sure the subaru is totaled the mazda is f-ed too, it makes me LOL the oldsmobile only had a couple of dents in the roof, the hood and trunk look straight still, shows how much metal they used to use! AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!
that sucks man. Im sorry about that. Worried as hell about my car, my old boss says they had to move it out of the garage...I may be REALLY happy soon that I reactivated my insurance coverage the day they said they were moving it.
Hope all works out well for you... When I had hail damage on my 02' wrx, the claim adjuster swore up and down the dimples in the spoiler were manufacturers defects, and wouldn't budge on it... Yeah right mfg defect that spoiler is a super big pita to wax...I think I would have noticed if it had dimples prior to the hail We had bad weather up here too...glad I parked in the garage last night...on a good note, some lightning knocked out the only stoplight in town!
Yup, the wife & I were out in Albertville when the storm hit. My car looks like a freakin' golf ball now.
le pics....and now that the water has dried on the olds...it doesnt look like it got damage at all...i guess the definatly DONT make them like they used to.
my buddies TL is missing 5 out of 6 windows and 2 tail lights... he had them tinted so he was able to pull the window out as a sheet and throw it away. easy cleanup but his car got flooded too.
I can bring a hammer if you need me to add more dings and dents...Just to make sure you get your $$$'s worth... Glad to kno ur ok...How about the house?
Oh before I forgot...my ******* neighbor had his friend come by for a BBQ and he drove a new lexus RX330 and it started to hail and he went out to put a flat piece of cardboard on the roof of his SUV and within sec. it blew away... These people make good money, but do not have common sense...lol Sorry 3rik didn't mean to hi-jack your thread... Back on TOPIC!
Bad newz hope the InsCo comes correct. My wife was pissed yesterday that I was frantically making room for car #2 (my car) in the garage while she and the midgettes loligaggled at the neighbors' pool. Turned out it wasn't needed but hail is one of the more dreadful of mother nature's devices.
what insurance company do you have? http://www.startribune.com/galleries/19251959.html?location_refer=Homepage
my olds weighs only about 1K more lbs then your legacy funny guy even funnier, its in better shape and is 12 years older
I got an email from my sister asking if everyone was ok... I guess she saw something on the news in AUSTRALIA about it... I was 45mins south and didnt know what she was talking about... sorry to hear eriK... went through it 2 yrs ago... sorry to hear about yours to Tom
Got about 2inch diameter hail here at my house, cars were in the garage so thats good. Roof is being inspected later this week. Its a brand new roof, was replaced due to hail 2 years ago.
Yeah, I'm not that upset about it since there's really nothing that could be done at the time when it happened. All that I care about is that the car gets fixed right and that I'll have something to tow the bikes with when I want to go riding the next couple of weekends.
yeah it could be worse.. like the people who have NO house left and also lost kids etc when that happened to mine I shrugged... it was all it took to make me stop trying to impress everyone with my car.. here today gone tomorrow so easily... there is more important things... although it is nice having a nice car
One 2 year old reported dead in Hugo and the rest of the family either in serious or critical condition! That will put car hail damage in perspective just a bit... Hopefully no one else was that severely injured and the worst possessions lost or damaged were just material!
you know that's funny. same thing happened to me. I called my mom and sister in Italy and they are like "oh we were worried, they said tornado in minneapolis in the news" and I am like " what? tornado? when? where?" and then it was only 25 miles north, but I didn't see a thing or know nothing about it. I don't watch tv, so...
Glad to hear that people were safe, and no one lost. What was teh level of tornado? I hope the adjuster you get is a reasonable person AWDimprezaL. What city do you live in again?
Monticello, and upon further inspection, we were one of the only ones that didn't get windows broken out for some reason.
