I'm sure you guys can't tell but I am a huge Beastie Boys fan and they are finally coming back to the Twin Cites November 1st at Roy Wilkins Auditorium. I'm so excited! Tickets go on sale next Friday at 10am. This is great, the two bands (RATM, and The Beastie Boys) that I wanted to see before they stopped touring I will be able to see in the same year!!!! :woot:

As a huge fan of the Beastie Boys myself, I'll be there (if money allows) I saw Rage this past summer, they were good in between Zach's political rants.

The Beastie Boys have been a favorite of mine ever since I was a kid. I'm only 19 now so to many of you I AM a kid still :/ Hopefully I can make it! Paul Revere- I always thought your name was because of the Beastie Boys.. Glad to see someone else likes them
I *loved* the Beasties, well, still do but some of their more recent stuff is t3h suxors and they all look like POWs...just emaciated. I'm so old I remember when their first album was "new" - as in, who are these crazy Jewish boys making the rap sounds?

Damn I saw Beastie Boys and a Tribe Called Quest back in 98 at the Target Center. Floor tickets were sold out, but we were determined to get on the floor. After A Tribe Called Quest went off, the lights went off, my friends, myself, and I bet 500 other people jumped the 10-15' drop onto the floor from the seats above. That concert was so sick. Well worth it, and I would recommend going to see them any day.
the beasties have never gone away and have always been relevant to my interests. they are many cuts above your typical rap 'artists'. i like their jazz instrumentals.
I'll be going, provided I can get tickets. Although I am worried that the whole basis for the tour is the election. I hope they don't babble to much and play some of their older stuff. I'm almost as excited to see tenacious D. I can't wait. The mix up was pretty good chill album.

I hate ticketmaster with passion so thick you could butter toast with it. The best I could do was 3 balcony seats (not preferred). I'm not missing this show so I just bought them. I am going to stop at the box office and try and buy some floor tickets tomorrow.
I'm not worried, I usually get the ones I want. I just log into Ticketmaster and right at 10 do my thing.
I doubt that they sold any floor ticktes today. I was refreshing from 9:59 constantly until they became available, no luck. I'm shooting for tomorrow as well. we'll see.
Ticketmaster they sent me a email of how to order, that I so happened to find before deleting it LOL.

I'm hooked up now. I called ticketmaster and they let me exchange my tickets for floor. They do a staggered release and the floor wasn't put up right away. See you guys at the show!
WOW, I would have never guessed that ticket bastard would let one do that. I'm surprised they didn't make you keep them.
