I am so tired of banged up hands from releasing crappy vice grips. That typical inside release handle sucks on most. What brand comes highly recommended for ease of use?

Why do you need to use Vise-grips? They are usually a last resort when you do not have the appropriate tool for the job.

    Knipex makes awesome pliers, btw.

I use them when a bolt shears (usually underneath the car) and I have to use heat to remove the remnant.
