blow guns are dangerous!!!!!

    well.... a few of us got REALLY drunk tonight and started to mess around with a dart gun. my buddy tommy wanted me to shoot him with one cuz hes stupid, and hadnt ever been shot with one and didnt think it would hurt.... the video is of the 5th time he was shot and we got it on camera haha. fun tuesday night haha.

    dont play with these they leave marks and can shoot really deep. i shot him from only 3feet away or less....i was drunk and didnt want to miss.

    This is why public safety is the most secure job field there is...People aren't getting any smarter, with or without alcohol. I'd recommend your friend get checked by a doctor. If any of those get infected he's going to have a pretty ugly time of it.

    Ouch. We used to shoot frogs and squirrels with those. Your buddy should get a tetanus shot if he's not current.

    I remember a friend had one of those when we were kids. He used to tip the darts with Anbesol and assassinate small animals in his yard.

    Aside from the threat of infection there is also the threat of tissue damage. Usually you just think of the hole the diameter of the dart but if you move around with it stuck in you then it can tear things internally. Essentially the same principle when bowhunting: the deer runs with the arrow stuck in it and the broadhead tears it up inside faster.

    Reading this a second time, I think it's funny that he felt the need to tell us that they're dangerous and that we shouldn't shoot each other with them. I'd been on the fence about it until I read this thread, I just wasn't sure if it was a good idea or not...

    Your friend really needs to go see a doctor. Now. And probably a shrink too. See if you guys can get a group rate while you're at it. If this is what you guys do to your friends when you're drunk I'd hate to see what would happen to someone you didn't like.

    hahaha. we did clean darts. they really didnt go in too deep but way more deep than we thought they would. thanks for your consern

    yeah... well, I feel let down too. It is amazing the trials a human body can live through!!! Nope, no 2" of penitration from a .005" sanitized dart is going to stop me.

    Sanitizing the dart won't help with the bacteria he pulled out of his colon, and dragged through his skin.

    not that its too much of a concern but i promise that burning and or boiling of the "needle" does not sanitize..plus ive stabbed myself thousands of times and never had a problem.

    also i found that blown guns are fun when shooting them at moving targets..oh and dennys signs..im not sure why.

    well rubbing alcohol should have done a good job as well as the fact that they were really new darts. idk do you wanna take bets on what happens to him? you all seem like youve done this before with all your predictions.

    well, did you see where the dart penitrated, there is no colon there....

    I don't know what video you watched, LOLz, but there is no chance the dart hit his colon.

    and it really only went in about a half inch. maaaybe just a bit more. his muscle is going to be sore but i really doubt his organs were touched

    haha im just glad that no one here has done anything dangerous and stupid. my bad. i guess im the only subaru driver in here who isnt a soccer mom.

    i at least admit to doing stupid **** and love laughing about it. gives a good story to tell my kids (if i last that long) right?
