Books for Tuning

    Im want to start tuning my car next summer but really have no idea where to start. Does anyone know of any books or websites i should check out before tuning. I really dont want to jump into without any knowledge. Thanks for the help.

    Oh man. I'd talk to Wall of Tvs. He kinda self taught himself tuning. He could lead you in the right direction I'm sure.

    i know this isnt a book for tuning but this weeekend i was looking at matt (fobia's) book "maximum boost" by corky bell and from what i glanced at it, it looked VERY informative. not about tuning but very cool.

    You won't find a book giving Subaru-specific tuning. Your best bet is to gain an overview and then ask questions on the boards after looking at different maps. That will draw out the more knowledgeable members.

    As for a book: How to Tune and Modify Engine Management Systems by Jeff Hartman.

    Walloftvs will permit one question every other day.

    Thanks alot for all the help and +2 for Maximum Boost! I picked it up last year and its one of the best books Ive seen for turbos.
