Good people of MNSubaru, I'm having boost issues with my '06 WRX. When I bought the car is was always running 18lbs. Now it has dropped off to around 15. I thought maybe someone was messing with me, turning my boost controller down. I have adjusted it some and no change. Would my boost controller be bad? Leaking? I'm not a pro with turbo cars, so any info would be great. I want to get the car re-tuned soon and I don't want to waste my money on a tune if the car is not going to be at full potential. Thanks for any info!
Bigger TMIC, BOV, Greddy up/down pipe and full Greddy 80mm exhaust. Just a Cobb stage 2 tune. Stock turbo. And yes I know I need to get away from the Cobb tune and get a real one....I know....I know.
Are you pulling data or trusting a gauge to tell you this? Maybe a post turbo leak somewhere? Does the bigger tmic uses the stock y piping? Check all the connections?
