So I always ran the correct boost pressure on an autometer gauge that I installed, then I decided to turn up the pressure with a dual stage controller, I ran like 17.5 psi with a walbro fuel pump and all was good until I read on here that this boost controller had no control on partial throttle boosting. soooo I took it off and reconected the factory controller, I also put new rubber lines on the turbo to the wastegate actuator and to the other side zip tied and all. after this I was reading 10 psi at wot and it just never got higher I thought this might have been because I disconnected the battery and then just drove on the highway for a while so I thought I may have screwed with the learning curve but that wasn't the case. I now am running accessport stage 2 91 octane map, the accessport is reading the boost pressure at around 8.5 at wot. So basically I am loosing pressure somewhere and not even reaching target boost, Where could the leak be and how dangerous is this 2 psi leak??? Thanks and sorry for the long story:) :)

If you're loosing psi, you'll be running rich. Do you hear any loud hissing from the engine bay when you're hitting 8.5 psi? Check all the connections and clamps. Usually, untightened clamps will come loose and allow air to leak past when you're on boost.

What did you do with the little restrictor pill?? If you did put it back into the system, did you locate it in the correct position??

Restricts airflow to the actuator...opening it less, making more boost

it would be worth a rummage through your trash.

That really sucks because I am up in Duluth at college and the pill is about 4 hours from here. Anyone in the area have one? or I suppose out of Duluth is cool to being that shipping shouldn't really be bad. I am gonna run to the dealer today so Ill just cross my fingers that they know what I am talking about:eek4:

some 04 folks running the gm solinoid have abandon'd the pill, so if you can't get one from the dealer your chances of getting one from a member might be decent.
