I bought my first wrx about a month ago from a guy who knew nothing about cars. its a 2002 ap stage 2 tune. i picked up the car with a bad front o2 censor and knew i needed to replace it. after a week of driving it on the bad 02 it got really violent/boggy/jerky. i rerplaced the o2 and my plugs which were fouled and it somewhat fixed it. i still had a too lean and i narrowed it down to my MAFS. well i just replaced the mafs yesterday, and it did make my car way better but im only hitting 13 psi instead of my target 18. at this point im assuming my boost solenoid is mechanically bad or i have a boost leak. my hoses look pretty solid but i know i should just test them. Ive seem all these sick DIY kits and i was wondering if someone in the Lino Lakes/Anoka County area has one i could rent from them? I Could make one myself but i currently work 70+ hours a week and do not have the motivation. im willing to do all the driving.

Contact NF Performance in Columbia Heights. They can check it out for you.

They are North of 37th, so I think that means Columbia Heights ;)

I know, they are right on the boarder on the CH side. I was just being funny because the address always pops up as MPLS.

There are about 100 zip codes in the 554XX range that are technically considered MPLS even though they are other cities.

Myself ( and NF) live in a city with "Heights" in the name and are in the Southern Peninsula of something (Anoka County), so we must be fancy.

And yes, +11 to contacting them :)

I also live in the Heights. The air is so thin up here!

Nuke helped me resolve a slight boost leak problem just last night! Done in an hour (I'm a hands on kind of guy), and now the FXT isn't whistling while it works!

Have you contacted him properly? He's never taken more then a day or two to get back to me when I have questions. And worked in most peoples "after hours" So I didn't have to miss work to meet up with him.

Called, texted, PM'd. He's probably a busy guy. I'll just keep waiting I suppose. But until then I'm stuck with a half-tune and only 11psi :(

Either there is more to this story or you have the wrong number.

Kind of what I thought. I've texted to ask a few questions before and got instant responses.

Yeah, maybe he doesn't realize that most of the member base can smell his BS on that comment.

Didn't mean to get off topic. I still would recommend NF to anyone and everyone!

Get ahold of them now. Nuke is a pretty easy going guy, that won't empty yer wallet. And will usually work with yer schedule to get you in when you have time.
