Boost Leak ?

So I was reading on the bbs forums about a jet turbine sound coming from the car its a boost leak. I notice this sound and I know its the turbo, if there is a boost leak how do I find it and fix?

 

if youre still running a vf-11 I would guess thats the culprit, mine was loud as a jet plane when it spooled.. are you intercooled yet?

 

Nope, bought one and saving up to upgrade turbo.

 

Well, you'll know if you have a leak if you aren't hitting target boost. Do you have a boost gauge to monitor?

 

i used to have that sound when i owned my DSM. it was so awesome

 

no boost gauge everything is stock. I can't remember how long its been going on, probably since I bought the car. But yeah it sounds sweeet
