i would not if i were you. I did it on my cougar and it peeled off every time i did it. Have the calipers sandblasted first and then paint them with lots of coats and best would be to bake them to have the paint seat in. Or powdercoat thats what i plan to do with miata.

I did my status calipers with the kit they sell at the auto part stores and I had no problems with peeling.

it really depends how well you clean the calipers before you apply the paint.

If you're going to paint them any color do black..they don't stand out as much. red, yellow, pink (yeah do that) will look like crap, especially if you mess up.

keep in mind your stock calipers have a rough texture so you will not get the super clean painted look as you would see with...for example Brembos

to be honest, that's what stopped me from painting the stockers. I seen a couple examples and they looked like crap. However, i did see a black set awhile back and they looked the best, the color (or lack there of) kinda disguises the texture.

Yeah the stock color is well blah, I don't want flashy by any means just something with a more upscale look. Ya know make the stockers pretty!

sure, you buy the paint and we'll test mine. I could care less, these brakes will be gone in a bit anyways. Stock brakes are okay, but I must have better brakes soon. I gotz the itch.:)
