I changed a rear caliper this weekend, put in new pads, bled it, drove it. Drives great, stops great. Brake idiot light on on dash. Plenty of fluid, no noises. What could trigger that light? 00 Impreza L I disconnected battery in attempt to re set. Still on.

I believe if you have a leak, typically the ABS light would turn on too....if you have ABS

My old legacy did this from time to time, give the float switch inside the fluid res. a good poking and see if it turns off.
