So I am finally getting around to coating and rebuilding the brembos that I bought last year. I am thinking that I'm going to get them jethot coated. I was wondering if anyone here had rebuilt brembos? I have serviced calipers before, but it looks like any of the guys that have serviced Subaru brembos may have neglected the seals between the caliper halves? In the mitz and Nissan versions the fluid is transfers to the outside half through an external line, on the Subaru caliper there appear to be cross ports. Does anybody know if there are seals between the caliper halves?

One guy says he talked to Brembo and splitting the calipers is not a good idea. Neither is PC'ing them with the o-ring in between the halves.

I'm sure it's not that big of deal. But the idea of the bolts holding them together 'stretching' would worry me enough to replace them. But that's juts me. As long as it didn't leak, I think I'd be okay with splitting them.

But then again, I just sandblast and paint what I have. (4pots)
