    My SVX got broken into last night sometime. It was at my in-laws house in St. Paul.
    I had it parked in the back and someone broke the drivers side window and stole my head unit, Ipod, and Ipod adapter. I was awaken this morning by a call from my father-in-law telling my wife that it happened. I'm glad they didn't steal the car or break anything more though, or steal any parts from the car like I see done to Hondas. Man this sucks. I am so angry but I am sick too so I don't have the energy to be angry. I'm going to class now I'll be able to update with pics that I took, later tonight.

    EDIT: I had to add some of these :evil: :x :evil: :x :evil: :x :cry: :cry: :cry: :x :evil: :x :!:

    You've lived there for a long time and now when you move out, your car gets broken into when you're visiting. It makes sense, but it doesn't either.

    Sorry about the incident. May your insurance be kind, too.

    Thanks guys.

    I don't know if it's one person or multiple, but I definitely think it was premeditated. I always put my Ipod in the center console and I usually close the door that covers up the radio but I haven't been lately. The wires were cut with a cutters and they only went for the radio + equipment. I think who ever did it has definitely done it before. I wish my in-law's ex-police dog caught'em in the act. They wouldn't stand a chance. I also had this feeling that I had to get the car home and that night while in bed I thought, oh well, it's just a car. I guess that's why I wasn't that suprised when I found out about it.

    What's even worse is that evening, my Mother-in-law's father passed away. When it rains it pours as they say.

    It might be someone from St. Thomas since they live near that campus.

    That's why I'm sticking stock interior, since they broke mine last year.
    But first just few of my opinion to keep a car safer outside parking;

    1) Forget all the fantasy dream that you are going to put into your car, get the nice quality alarm system that is frequent sensative.
    2) Just to let you know, most thieves cut the alarm horn after the car has been activated, to piss them off install another horn that is hiding somewhere that they can't reach them.
    3) lastly, there's the part that you can have your fantasy, put anything in your car braw.
    Note: Next time bring your attach face deck and the ipod with you if you planning to get one again. And make sure that you park where is most visible to you and outside, so they can't mess with your suby. That's all so far, sorry to hear your lost, but it's telling us not to spend a lot of money to look it good, maybe i'm wrong, I'LL BE QUITE!!!

    No, I know all of that stuff.
    In reality, I just got lazy and naive I guess. I knew better than to leave it like that. I also thankfully didn't spend more than 90 bucks for that Aiwa CD player, so they got a cheap one. Also, the Ipod was 1st gen anyway nothing fancy. I don't put alot of money into my sound systems thankfully. I am still upset though. Thanks for the advice Tommy.
