This is a good read and has been around for quite some time. Also, it is the reason why I decided on the motor I have about ten years ago. http://www.legacycentral.org/library/literature/mike_turbo.htm
Wow. 0 to Jackass in 14 posts. I haven't seen anyone do that since Taras. OP, keep in mind that you're the one who came in here asking for advice. It sounds like you already had your mind made up on what you wanted to do before you came in here and when we told you that what you want to do is a bad idea you got miffed and ran over to the Rochester thread (where you've already managed to piss people off there as well. Bravo!) because we kept telling you to swap the motor. You may well have mechanical experience. You could even be the best Formula 1 wrench out there for all we know, although current evidence is going against that. There's no way around physics and engineering. The n/a motors aren't going to hold up to that kind of power level, and for what you'll spend in parts and time trying to make it work and then replacing everything after it blows up you'll be well past the financial outlay you'd have had just doing it right the first time. If what we're telling you hurts your feelings, grow a thicker skin and do some research. You not liking our answers isn't going to change the outcome.
