i think it's poignant, but also a bit pointless since he is not allowed to take office for another term

when i saw this i couldn't believe my eyes. I really thought I was dreaming or something. It just shows how smart he is, lets put up a billboard that won't allow us to do anything (I know it wasn't him that put it up, but I had to say it).

Damn, I didn't think anyone missed GW. Shows how quickly people forget :).

I'll tell ya what, you can have GW help Sarah Palin try to get elected in 2012 :).

Guessing because of his stance on the AWB. I don't agree with that either, but Holder has done wonders in other areas. Anyway, my favorite AG of all time is Alberto "I don't recall" Gonzalez. Can't really beat the worthlessness of that appointment.

Actually, I've got numerous problems with Holder. Yes, the AWB is one of them, but my main complaint is his and the CINCs decision to try KSM in a Federal court rather than a military tribunal where it should be. Gonzalez wasn't much better, I'll give you that one all day long.

Ah, ok. In all honesty, I'm not sure how I feel about what is the best way to try KSM, I can see benefits to each situation. My comments were largely directed to Holders actions to "firm up" the courts and put then back where they should be -- in their own branch of government and not involved in politics (see: his handling of Ted Stevens trial).

And I can agree with you there, however my counter-point to it would be his help in the pardon of Marc Rich. Doing an end run around the system to help pardon the fugitive husband of the biggest contributor of the Clinton Presidential Library to me is a very serious issue.
