I was talking with Axis racing regarding my EJ22T build. I am planning on 9:1 CR in a EJ22T w/ WRX heads. they recommended using a 272 intake cam and a 264 exhaust cam.

now i am curious why they recommend using the larger intake cam, instead of matching the cams evenly (264I,264E) does anyone have any idea why? does it have to do with the higher compression? just seemed kinda wierd to me.

You need more time time to put air in than to take out a spend charge
