My camera got dropped at the bar the other night...and now when I try to turn it on and off the lens just kind of clicks and it says "lens error, please restart camera". Is there any place that could fix this...or am I just doomed to spend money on a new camera?

If it matters, the camera is a Canon SD630

if your camera lens is jammed,
then you got to bring it to a camera repair professional,
you can try to do it yourself and realign the brackets and gear sets,
or you can send back to canon to get it repaired,
    any warranties on it?
expect a 15 day to 30 day repair.
hopefully it costs under $100.00 to get the lens extender fixed up,
    nothing else is busted right,
    lcd display,
    or the lens?

LCD display is fine...but I'm no camera expert so I have no idea what else could be wrong. What kind of a place would I bring it to? Any recommendations?

    we gotta gooooo
bring it to either national camera or westphoto. it will likely be around the same price to just buy a new one
