so finally after a week my account has been made active. I have been looking to buy an RS for the past month, and not much luck so far, also because most of them are FAAAAAAR and dealing long distance is too hard.

but anyway, I am posting this because I am offering my help to any of you out there who are working or going to work on your subaru. I really wanna get my hands dirty and learn but I am very busy with my 2 jobs so it's hard to intern at any mechanic and I don't have that many tools to do things myself. I offer to help you out with whatever you do, I can read about it and be prepared, grab the tools, be the water bottle guy, or beer bottle. I learn fast and I am easy-going. I am usually good with mechanic stuff and I have knowledge of electrical components. I worked on bikes and mopeds and know how to solder. If you need an assistant just pm and we can get in touch. weekends and at times during the week, even in the day, work for me.

    Welcome to the club! :)

Sweetbugi and I are working on our vehicles practically every weekend. If you are bored any time just shoot either one of us a PM, it always nice to have an extra set of hands to help.

    Welcome.

You should come and join us at an AutoX sometime. We already have one feisty Italian in the club. I had never heard anyone complain so much about the "proper" pronunciation of Lancia before.

LOL. that's cool! yeah I look forward to go to one soon and ride with someone. I wish they would sell some Lancia Delta HF around here, but the few ones around are in canada and cost a lot. I will do some PMing in the next weeks or so.

I'm installing springs, front bumpstops, repacking the rear struts with better grease, swaybars, and endlinks one of these weekends.

I was just gonna take pics but if anyone wants to help or make an install day out of it that would be great.

Pretty easy installs but can take a while with 2 hands and hand tools.

I'll be doing springs coming up here, too. Gunna wait till it gets nicer outside, so I can put on my summers at the same time.

An install day with some airtools would be awesome. :):)

I will be doing Cobb springs install this week, never done suspension before and only have hand tools. I don't know if you want to help or not. I will do front one day and rear the next day. It might take sometime but I have 08 subie and hope nothing is rusted yet.

you could check the alternator, when mine went out it just had a harder time starting is all tho. Check all the grounds and, and possibly joint areas where the harness could rub and short
