Eh, so I'm in my appartment, and yesterday was the first time it happened, but I heard my car alarm going off from the garage below (I live on the first floor). So my adrenaline certainly started to pump and I rush down there and nothing...Figured no big deal.

So far today, 3 times the alarm has just started going off, thankfully I can just shut off the alarm and reactivate it from my aptment.

Its gone off like once every 2 hours.

    Any thoughts?

-- haha sorry just realized I put this in the wrong area..

It's possible you're butt dialing... (hitting panic button)

Or someone is messing with you.

Well, what is setting off the alarm?? Every alarm I have ever worked with will fast out some kinda of code to tell you what set the alarm off.

Also, if someone wants your car, they will take it. Back in the day I had a friend that had his car stolen. They kept setting off his alarm for over a week before he got to the point of saying screw it, I don't want it waking me up all night. Next morning, no car.

What brand/model alarm you got? Oem alarm?

I have AutoPage RS727 and just yesterday I happen to go to my bedroom and looked at the screen and saw that the LCD screen shows door is open, alarm disabled, and trunk opened. Weird. I sort of panic and went out to the garage right away. Nothing, car is safe and sound. I guess its just one of those weird stuff.

I said to myself, "Dont scare me like that", lol.

Funny story, I figured it out.
I was just leaving for work, and took the stairs, kind of the back way to the garage (which is right by my apt) and just then my roomate got back and went through the "front" door; which is one door then a space and then another door that leads to the lobby if you will... anyway, I saw the first door open and he was opening the 2nd door which caused a large amount of negative (or positive...one of the two) pressure which caused the first door to slam shut extremely hard!! Boom = car alarm... ****ty thing is my car is a long ways away from the door, but beings I was walking up to my car and just about to unlock/disarm it when it went off...

    Go figure!

debating just locking it during the day... I work a decent amount of nights so its not fun being woken up during the day (or dreaming (thinking) that it is going off). But then again I'm weery of not having the alarm off, lose lose situ =!!!

I would try a Wireless camera system, mount the camera somewhere that can see your car and the camera is well hidden. Just make sure to install it when nobody is looking. Or even put a baby monitor under your car so you can listen to whats going on.
