because he is my problem, I was coming home from work last night, and all the sudden i had smoke coming out my exhaust not the kind when its cold. So when I got home I had noticed my catch can something was leaking from there so I disassembled everything and then I noticed that the fluids in the can were frozen or partly. Cleaned it out hooked everything back up and there was no more smoke like before. But now I have a milky brownish yellowish fluid in my exhaust. Any one have any idea?

I was always told that you should remove them if your going to drive the vehicle in the winter.

That means that oil and coolant are mixing together somewhere. Trouble shoot and find out where. Check your radiator and oil pan. Check your inlet tube and your IC tubing. I just had my seals go on my turbo. Had chocolate milk in my IC.

I think my uncle and I figured it out. The moisture in the breather was getting frozen causing the breather to get clogged, causing the leaking catch can, which would cause the oil to burn out the exhaust. And fixed the catch can breather with a 90 degree pvc pipe facing the rear of the car so no cold air can catch it. I am going to change my oil this weekend, and will let you know.

Crawford makes a catch can for us northerners that uses a coolant line to keep the can from freezing like yours does.
