CEL Code: P0105, P0106

my car has been giving me these 2 codes for over a year now. they first started when i put in a cone filter, and removed the airbox.

my little book says:

P0105: MAP / Barometric Pressure Circuit Malfunction

P0106: MAP / Barometric Pressure Circuit Range/Performance Problem.

my car is a 95 2.2l so sorry to say i dont have a MAP sensor.

the light will go off when it is cold out (ie 0 F or below)

the light has recently gone off since i put in a Vaccum gauge (this puzzled me)

and it has now come back on.

the car runs perfectly fine w/ or w/out the light on. i just have no clue what it is for.

 

its your baron hose...the huge hose that goes to your intake tube, mine cracked after i put on my intake, it threw a code

 

is the one that goes from the throttle body to the intake? pls post a pic / diagram

 

no it goes from the intake to a little modual looking thing attatched almost underneath the intake manifold its the biggest hose on your intake

 

ahhhh. so is mine just loose or disconected? or is it cracked nad i ned a new one?

 

most likely...or your intake tube has a hole in in somewhere

 

Swap your stock stuff back on and see if it goes away.
