CEL on

i took the utec out of my car yesterday to upgrade to ver.4.2c. i ended up falling asleep. soooo, this mornin i just put the stock ecu back in without the utec. now the CEL is on. i was just wonderin if the CEL will go away when i plug the utec back in. thanks

i dont know the code. i need to get it read. is there a place that offers free service?

 

any local Autozone...definitely get it read and share, impossible to offer good advice without knowing the code.

 

well...i plugged my utec back in...and the CEL went away. i still wonder why it was on.

 

could have been the, "CALL PARIS HILTON NOW SHE WANTS TEH SEXXORS!!" cel, but now you will never know.....

i have a code reader if you ever need it.
