The headers for my 4.3 are close-ish to stuff. Wires, fuel lines, brake lines, steering shaft, etc.

Sounds like even Archer Racing up here outsources to a shop in the cities for it. So I guess I'll do it that way. Any recommendations?

I know http://www.newimagecoatings.com/ in Lino lakes does ceramic coating. My work has used them a few times simply because they are just down the road. What they have done has held up fine so far.

Nothing works better than a traditional fiberglass wrap. It may hold some fluids, but if you can keep that under control no worries.

It's a non-turbo engine. They're a block-hugger style header, so the primaries are very close together, wrap would be an EPIC PITA.

Also, heat-wrap will void what little warranty the headers have.

So I'd much rather go with something that will help prevent rust, even if it isn't quite as good in the heat-control.

Also, last time this vehicle was used:

So, "fluid" control will be an issue

Thanks Carl, I'll get in touch with Mike.

Yep Carl is right, My dad has some high temp powder that he has used on headers before. I am not sure how well it works, I had my friend do it on his headers for his trans am so I could see how long it would last but the engine in the car only made it about 100 mile after that.

Yeah, I forgot about your end-use. I wouldn't want to use wrap either if you are submerging the thing.

Thanks Mike. Sounds like it's not quite what I'm looking for.
