I thought of a cheap useful hail storm protective gear for your subaru that weighs under 20 pounds. using a big water proof sleeping bag or cushioner and huge clippers. Basically before the hail storm. Cover up my subaru with the "cushioned protection" of a water proof cushioner or sleeping bag and then clipping it on the sides to survive nasty golf ball hail storms. I've seen the videos on you tube. small mini dents all over the car especially a broken wind shield. Oh and I can't forget that it messes up the paint job on the car.
I thought all the people with those big old gas guzzling SUV's/pickups were hoping for bad hail so they could park em outside and get the insurance money since their value is in the toilet. New big pickups sell for 1/3 off, so just think about what you get for a used one!(if you can find a buyer)
