cheesy....Why not use real brake dust that is dry other than coffee? In normal road condtiions it is hard to find coffee pools that will get to your wheels.
i noticed that when he put the honey on it didn't move but then when he went to pick it up just one hair sec before it gets moved you can see some of the drips move..looks altered.
Nate, Rejex is a synthetic polymer. It's more of a sealant than a wax. I think people mostly use it on boats, although the corvette guys like to use it on their paint. http://www.rejex.com/ A lot of people use it on wheels. You can get it locally at some hardware stores and boat supply stores. I've tried it on the Legacy and I thought it looked too dull and plasticy, so I topped it with a pure carnauba wax and it shines like it should now. On wheels, if you clean them properly first, it works really really well at repelling brake dust and road crap. a garden hose takes off deep brake dust from my alloy wheels and a simple wipe takes brake dust off the painted wheels on the 911 (that car produces heavy heavy brakedust... the wheels look gunmetal after a drive or 2 lol). In my experience I've found it works for 2-3 months on wheels and slightly longer on less abused surfaces (body panels). But given the dull finish and 12 hour cure time, I typically prefer to use something like Fourstar UPP as a synthetic sealant with high gloss and long life. I'll bring some over when I bring the exhaust over to your place. Maybe this weekend? Anyway, I've never been happy with an armorall product. I prefer gloss over grease. edit: I should add, the website I linked insinuates that rejex could be used in place of a polish. Don't. It has 0 polishing properties. If you want a retail wax that also gets rid of some fine swirling on body panels, try something like meg's nxt 2.0 instead. For wheels, most car waxes work ok. Some (like rejex) just tend to last longer.
when he applies it, it is moving slowly toward the middle just from the slight angle of the spokes when it lying flat and right before it picks it up, he blows the honey (hehe)
