Club cards are being ditributed so it's time to update this thread. Here is a list of the locations where you can get the discount. I will update as more locations are added.

for subaru parts, the discount we offer is "shop cost" would be the same discount as any shop in town, actually you guys get it better, most general repair shops get 20% off retail, you guys get 20% off subaru list, somtimes this is more then 50% off retail. just a reminder.

 

This is good on anything in the store or parts that they must order. I think the best way would be to just post names here if everyone is comfortable with that. If not you can pm me and I'll keep names private. This is still in the works so it may be a while before we will have the discount. I think I'll be able to make the Identifix meet and offer it up for disscussion there as well.

Well, I talked to the salesman today and he said to simplify the process he will print genaric cards for the club. No name or I.D. required. This will speed things up quite a bit getting this going. I will also skip having our logo printed and keep it simple type on the cards. He is doing us a favor by printing them so this will help keep his costs down. I will have him print up 500 or so to get started unless someone feels we should have more. It will take about a week to get the cards so it won't take as long as I expected to get this going. The only thing I ask is this discount does not get abused. Use it for anything you want but don't go handing cards out to non club members.
The sales guy (scott) also said if we ever need a meeting place like a conference room he can get us one at his office in Hopkins. Also if we ever decide to do any type of charity event they will let us use one of their parking lots for a car wash or car show anything along those lines.

Once I get them I will be making trips up to Firestone more often. Or you can pick them up from me at home if you would like. I'm sure we can all work out a way to get them one way or another. I just don't feel like mailing out 500 cards to get them to everyone. Postage would start to get a little spendy. As soon as I have them I will let you guys know and people can pm me. I'll be sure to let everyone know if I'll be at firestone or some other event.

I talked to Russ and the sales guy. We are putting this on hold until we get the club membership cards printed. That way we don't have multiple discount card floating around people have to keep track of. Once the club cards are done they will be good for the Parts Plus discount.

 

^^^ Is an awesome price, thank you! While being new here, I do not expect any discounts, and even if I had been here a long time, I would not expect big discounts.
