i have a 05LGT limited with a 5sp and every time i shift or get back on the gas i get a clunk noies coming from the car. with 17k miles on it in feb i had a new clutch put in from the dealer cause it blew up on my way home from denver colorado. it now has 33kmiles. i went to cheak the trans mount and could spin one nut freely. the nut is striped, i cant tighten or lossen it it just spin around and around. so i belive i have found my clunking noise i just want to know if anyone elsa has an idea.

was thinking of getting a groupN mount, or is there soming better out there??

Yeah sounds like you need a new tranny mount if you have verified that the thing is not tight and stripped. I would go back to the dealer and ask them to review it.

Group n ones are nice but they are quite a bit stiffer and you may hear drivetrain noise. If you can deal with the noise go that route if not just buy a stocker.
