    My forester came with one. what vehicles will it work on? Just an 04 xt? or any ride with 2.5l and a 5mt? It is the first version AP

    I agree with Sheen. The AP that you have is only good for other 2004 FXT's with a MT. You'll have to sell it to another 04 FXT with MT if you replace your ECU with an 04 STi ECU.

    a guy on the forester forum said cobb is going to be selling the v1's for 200. anyone have any info on that.

    Replacing his ecu with an STi one would be a HUGE waste of money.

    hey Tom.. is there a way to remove and openecu an ecu that has an Ecutek tune??

    I believe this depends on when it was flashed. IIRC, the more recent ECUTek flashes locked out the ecu. However, if the ECU isn't locked, you should be able to flash it with openECU tools without a problem.

    I think it is an older version as teh chick I got it off of had it from a few years back I think....
