so the car randomly threw a code at me on the freeway this evening but thats not the biggest prob. have not found a code reader yet that will connect to the car, all are saying no connection found. any ideas? all fuses are good so i dont know why its not connecting. any thoughts will help. p.s. think the code is an 02 sensor. car is running fine no bad noises but smells like its running rich. car isnt being driven till i can get a code reader to read! again any ideas as to what could be the issue would be great! thanks
ill have to try that, i know it doesnt fix my issue of the code reader not working but i disconnected the battery, let it sit.... long story short even after driving a bit i cant get the CEL to come on?
Code should still be in the history if you didn't clear it. Correct me if I am wrong please. Could try a auto zone or something see if they can hook up. Worth a shot?
