Wonder how much weight it gained by losing the hardtop.

If it is anything like the Z, it gained 400+ lbs. And if it is anything like the similarly priced 2005 350z, expect about a 5000 dollar or more premium on top of the coupe price.

In part 2 she makes him sell it because she doesn't like the car, It's a tragic story :(.

The Scion FR-S Convertible: This Is It

    TOYOBARU
We've known for some time that Toyota has been working on a roofless version of the sportscar we know as the Scion FR-S. Today, we know what it will look like.
Say hello to the FR-S convertible, which was spotted in Cape Town, South Africa. Some intrepid enthusiast snapped some photos, which were then sent to the FT86 Club forums and South Africa'sCarmag.
As we've said here many times before, and as I too can personally attest, the Toyobaru twins are a hell of a lot of fun to drive. Getting sideways in that thing with the top down on a sunny day is definitely on my to-do list this year.
The actual debut will happen next month at the Geneva Auto Show. Let us know what you think. Will the FR-S be better without a roof?

Personally prefer it with a hard top.

Should have eliminated the rear seats for the vert. Oh well.

I would take one for a summer car. It would be a great platform to start with. Maybe my boss will give me a huge raise this year (like 3x what I currently make).

I like it with the hard top more also. Same thing with the S2000s.
