Alright since we all have to see those dirty foresters on our front page for a month... lets keep that fun theme going. Theme: Vehicle Must Be Off Road (No roads, streets, driveways, parking lots, parking ramps, etc) RULES COTM for May 09' : -Pictures must be current from 2009 only -Pictures must be the your car -Pictures must be of your car being off road. (Doesn't have to be driving/moving) -Pictures of cars in,on, or around pavment will not count as entries -Only two photos per entry -Photos can NOT be the same as Previous COTM entrys. i'm aware of the two picture rule, but dont you think that's a little too slim for a cotm contest? if that is what youre refering to, i will take 3 off before i start a riot.
I think he was reffering more to it being on a dirt road (not sure if that's considered an actual road though...my first thought is that it is a road). Also, in one of the pictures, there is a paved road in the background. I could really care less, but from watching last months COTM blow up...I imagine some people put their heart and soul into this contest.
ok, Russ, what would you like me to do? leave all 5 up or follow the rules and take down 3? i suppose its Russ's and Brian's call. also-gc8 i know you dont care, but i can assure you that there is no paved road in the second pic (think thats the pic youre talking about) seeing as its a dirt road i figured it was counted as "off road" since, the major point of this months theme is to leave pavement and buildings out of this, so i picked a dirt road and a barn. but if its not a legitimate entry i will withdrawl from the competition at the moment because i dont have any pictures of my car in teh middle of a muddy corn field.

And i'm glad its getting a good following. This is true. For now since you posted them thats fine. But i'm choosing only 2 photos for voting. Never know what the front page can take. Maybe next month I'll have it be 3 min.
From the Thin Ice rally-x taken by chad1.5litertoaster and WRX1 of my forester, got 2nd place in PA weee. I wish I had some good off-road tires and grab a nice still shot somewhere, been looking at maybe getting some BFGs as an off-road/rally-x tire. Right now the summers are on, so no help there for the theme. Mods are an evolution on this car, so there's probably 5 new things on the car since that pic like a GC coil kit and full exhaust.
we orginally did that because when we started the COTM many moons ago people were submitting a kabillion pictures...yes a kabillion!:eek3::biggrin:
