hey guys... I'm going to be doing a few one off computer cases soon, and was wondering what I should charge for a fair price for the work. (no one has commissioned the art.. i'm just doing these for fun) the cases will run me 50.00 each + about 100.00 in materials. the cases will have LEDS and fans and other such random stuff hardwired through out the design. heres a video of the bike that was done a while back. i'll be using the same mats / style on the cases. the tank / headlight is mostly what you should be looking at. the cases will have built in windows and custom lighting through out the design. Well, a typical case with a window and lights isn't much .. one can get pre-built cases with that off newegg. Doing all that extra modelling and such is going to command a huge premium... provided you can find people to buy it. I'd imagine right now, custom cases are a tough sell. 500 isn't unheard of, though, for things less extreme than that.
