2004 WRX wagon Custom one-piece 3" catback w/ Magnaflow muffler (originally made by TSTRBOY I think...) Some guy (censoring myself for the forum here...) rear-ended me today and then had the bright idea to drive away so I couldn't get his info. Anyway, the upshot is that the catback section of my exhaust is bent and the muffler tip is pressed up into the bumper a little. Is there anyone on here close to St. Paul that can bend it back for me? I'd like to get this done quick so I can take it into the body shop for the bumper.
Sure. It's probably too dark out now, but I can try to get to that tomorrow. As far as I can see, it's just the portion that's normally bent that must have been twisted a little or something, 'cause it's bent a little more than normal and it's hanging down an inch or so more in the middle of the car.
Last time I was down there it seemed like he was sort of closing up shop for a bit because of school and keeping busy with family, but I might have read that wrong. Also kinda hoping to find someone closer than Jordan, MN. Otherwise, yeah he's the first guy I thought of.
Closer than Jordan but not extremely close to St. Paul is Muffler Clinic in SLP just west of Lake Calhoun about 2 miles. Steve does quality work for fair price.
