Does anyone in the area do custom LED work? I suppose it doesn't have to be local as long as it isn't Lightwerkz. I'm looking for someone that will make custom LEDs. If you know anyone, please list name and how I can get ahold of them. Thanks in advance. Dave
What do you mean by custom LEDs? Fabricating custom LED dies would cost a TON. Packaging raw LEDs wouldn't be too hard. I need more information.
Err, on the topic again though: Can you specify what kind of setup you're looking for? LED color, arrangement, automotive, home, etc?
yea, sorry guys. Just looking for custom arrangement and custom flashing pattern for my tails. I have some ideas I would like to get in motion. I don't mind paying in excess for custom work. I understand how that goes and I know custom is expensive. I'm just going for something different. The company Lightwerkz has custom tails for the wrx, but it's their own idea and it's not what I'm looking for. I want to keep my stock tails looks the way they do..stock and incorporate custom shaped LEDs to them. More questions? Please ask
Um...this is an English forum correct?! Factory warranty = three years of cosmetic upgrades Unless you can contribute, don't post. Simple as that
ok.. so by custom do you mean like a lady swinging around a pole so when you brake NO-one would miss em???
that shouldn't be too bad really the real key is how ghetto the controller can be range is: breadboard (parts can and will fall out)...proto board (sturdier and can be shrinktubed to keep parts in place) ... diy custom circuit board (acid etch copper)...one-off circuit board (can order through the EE lab at school, just need to still know the people working there) i did sequential led's at school for the first lab of a class so the concept is easy, just a decision on to make the controller package
