Does that include tanking it after they bore it? BTW you need the pistons in hand before you bore it.

yep I know I need pistons first, I was just seeing if they are a reputable place to bring my block. I will ask about hot tanking.

D&G Motors is a good place also. We have our rally car motor with them right now. Pretty competitive prices too

Dana's in Shak town was either 130 or 140. He did a fantastic job. There's only a hint of slap when it is really cold.

That's where my brother got his motor done. He had bad experience with them. They told him his motor would be done in 1 week. Took them 3 weeks. Honing, Boring out, sand blasting, and rebalancing. You should check with them if they are busy. I'm sure if they aren't they can keep their word. Good quality work though!

Price sounds high to me if that is per hole as some places quote, if that is for all four it does not sound bad at all. Try B & A Cylinderhead in Blaine (763) 427-7535 ask for Matt. He owns the place, I have known him since high school. Tell him Brady sent you. His prices are fair and he is a damn good machinist. Matt would also be one to ask about the workman ship of Cylinderhead Express, Matt will give you a straight answer as I haven't heard him bad mouth a shop that didn't do some thing to deserve it.

He must be sleeving it, considering there's about .125" of material there. Unless he meant .020" ;)
