I just installed(Sheen actually did it for me) maddad Clarity boost gauge and connected it to clock power. The gauge is way too bright compared to the dash board. Does anyone know where can i connect the gauge that it dims with the dash, if it is possiable.

The factory boost gauge connects to a plug behind the radio.

What version Maddad gauge did you purchase?

I'm pretty sure all of the v2 clarity gauges (that do the sweeper startup) are not designed to just "wire in" to dim as you dim the dash lights.

However, if it is simply too bright you can wire in a resistor.

yeah i got the V2. Thats what i thought that they dont just simply dim with the dash. Does anyone have a picture of their dashbord light up. I think my dashboard is a little to dim.

yeah, thanks. That looks way dimmer than mine. And the thing is that its always on. I cant make it not light up but work. Where does the stock boost gauge connects? What would be the best place to hook it up?

it plugs in behind the radio, there is a whitish two pin plug that it plugs into, (there are actually two in close proximity either of them might work but look for the lighter color plug).
