Yeah i know i just had to figure out the deal with my tint. I got a ticked yesterday and went to tintmasters today to set up an appointment. I thought if i show up in person i would get them down i price, but i was wrong.
hot damn! it looked like a real nice day for some shenanigans. if you guys have another meet i will be sure to get work off then. but hey at least i made it to the tonka meet to hear about it! nice pictures by the way.
ha ha and the silver one in the 3rd pic.. did it go through te ice or need new front suspension... cause that rear wheel is HIGH!!
Snow drift probly? Lots of odd angles on the lake! No one went through the ice... its got to be about 2 and 1/2 to 3 feet thick now... Last time i checked it was around 2 feet

i was gonna go out with you guys yesterday but i had to work... but i did go out with some of my audi buddies in town here at like 4. i drive from phelps bay to excelsior everyday to and from work. saves 10 minutes! the highlight of my outing was gettin really ballsy and hittin this 2ft snow drift @ about 45mph... pretty good height, about 20ft from top of the drift to touch down! got it on film, i'll see about gettin it on soon. to anyone that wants to go out again today... me and blake (urabusvids) are thinkin about goin out for some camera time. here's his number if you wanna meet up with us! 952-797-2105 hope to see you out!
actually i believe its fine. my huge skid plate that i scribed to the front bumber cover completely reinforced it. we think the engine is fine. just got alot of water and what not all over the electricals. think it screwed one of the coil packs so its only running on 3 cyls.
That's good to hear. The noise did seem odd as it sounded fine till mid rpms. A spun bearing or similar is generally quite noticeable even from idle. Something did sound off though. Have you been able to rev it up now without the odd noise?
havent even touched it. i'll start taking stuff apart tomorrow. really hoping its just only firing on 3.

I got a vid coming up real soon... -6:30 minutes long -two songs(unique and actually fit pretty darn well) -lots o' footage(roofing, outside, inside, chase, all kinds of fun) I'm building the avi as I type...16.5 hours to compile via Adobe Premiere, lol. I've got about 8 hours left to go. I'm not sure if I should be proud it or ashamed of my PC.:laugh: I'm going to attempt to put it up on Youtube. I'm not even sure what size it will be. , and I may end up compressing it down a bit with Virtual Dub to a reasonable size as I'm thinking the starting avi might be quite large(think a few gigs...). At least that will only take minutes rather than hours.:biggrin: I'll have it viewable in one way or another before I go to bed tonight. I kind of have to cause I'm on my way to the ice races after classes tomorrow. I'm quite happy with the finished product, a little simple but a lot of fun to watch and a good range of footage. By the way, I did your big roof jump proud, and yes it was caught on video. There's some FXT footage. I kind of wish I had a little footage of the green Impreze. I'm glad there was some from aj. Me too. It kind makes me wish I wasn't compiling on a 3 year old Pentium-M laptop.:laugh: Its 2Ghz is chugging away though.

LAME!!! Just had an error compiling the movie...:eek4: lol I wonder if it's the 4 gig file limit.:hsugh: Ok, time to recompile in a more compact format. At least it will probably finish faster than this would have.:laugh: Edit... I'm an idiot, lol. Apparently I was compiling a whole lot more blank info than my movie... It might be done real quick. If things turned out right, I'll be done soon.
Man this is so horrible, can't make anything work right.:roll: Premiere gives me blocky videos. VirtualDub gives me (tremendously) out of sync video/audio (video either too fast or too slow). Frankly it should come out of Premiere as good as it does VirtualDub using the same codecs and setup, but it doesn't. I've got a test tomorrow and up to ice racing right after that. It's really looking like I can't touch this till next week. Well, I'll have my laptop with me to play with it more, but I'll have no internet to upload it.
A couple more attempts. I'll try to get this out before I head up to the ice races, if things work... Update: Eh...not going to happen. You either get something that looks really crappy(think phone quality...) or you have to wait till Monday. The only good, compiled video I have so far is a 1.4 gig file. I just need to find a way to make one that's under 100mb that both looks good(i.e. not really, really compressed/blocky) and is actually synced with the audio. I'll get it taken care of up at the ice race. If someone has internet access(via phone) I could get it uploaded, otherwise Monday. It shouldn't be this hard, lol.
