dhl driver dropped off a package at my job, then backed up into the side of my car and left. last week he backed into someone on university.
Easy, he knew he hit your car and chose to ignore it. A few weeks before I left San Diego, some lady in a delivery van parked very closely in front of my WRX out in front of Horton Plaza (huge mall in SanDiego) I'm sitting in my car. She gets out, opens the rear doors of her delivery van. The bottom corner of the door gouges the hell out of my hood as it opens. She pauses, knowing full and well what had happened. THen she goes on like nothing happened. I get out of the car and just lose it. No swear filters in real life...
i'm waiting for the dhl local guy to call me back. hopefully they will let me just get a quote to replace the door and all will be good. if they get lippy i'll gut go ahead with the hit and run complaint.
UPDATE. the drivers says he didnt do it. guess i'll try and see if i can get the boss to pul out survalance camera footage.
I had the same thing happen to me last winter. I called and reported the hit and run to the cops, they took pics of my car, filed a report, approached the suspect, and took pics of their car. The driver stated they didn't do it, but since the police report was so thorough my insurance company was able to get the drivers insurance company to pay 100%. :biggrin: get the police involved asap, even if you can get the video footage.
does he come on a schedule? if so wait outside and see if u can snatch a pic or something while hes inside

Yeah what Russ said cuz then they can do all the leg work and what not and it will also probably help with insurance like someone else mentioned.
Based on the evidence (yellow paint), he's guilty. Get that bastard fired and make them pay. If DHL hires punks for drivers, sue the frieken business and take home a remittance check for their lack of care.
yeah, we have a cop shop right accross the street and the officer there is super helpfull. i have a report filed already. and i'm going to sick my insurance guy on DHL too.
