Spent the last 4 days traversing the Front Range for work and have been overwhelmed by hordes of tastefully to wildly modified Imprezas. One of them even had the nerve to steal *my* idea of sedan fenders on their UGM Hawkeye wagon...bastard....;)!!

I look forward to being forced to move here.

And chains are legal in the winter, did you see any white tubes on the backs of Subie's? I know not that time of year but it would be cool to see!

Salt Lake City is also rediculious.
The netire mountain states area is weird.
Any town of size has a Subaru dealer. they may not even have all of the big 3, but they have a subaru dealer.

Colorado Springs is crazy too. Have seen couple tasefully moded Subies out there this summer. Lot's of 08 Imprezas too. It's like every 3rd car is a Subaru.

Aside from some of the cultural weirdness, that sounds like a cool place to live.

Don't forget the UP and most of New England for Subaru havens.

What, you don't like the idea of 9 wives (who cycle simultaneously) and no booze? Fool...;)

The UP has a 1:1,000 guy/fapworthy girl ratio. Therefore, it is shunned.

yeah, when I lived in colorado I think almost every family owned a subaru of some sort. When I return to mountains of Colorado in a few years I already have plans to open a small subaru repair shop as a hobby...and I know those folks will keep me busy:)

I still remember this....last summer sarah and I counted 14+ subarus in a within 1 mile driving on highway 9 south of breck.....and they weren't apart of any club, just normal folk:)

Yeah, when I lived in Bozeman, MT our running joke was "Bozeman, Sponsered by Subaru". They don't plow the roads in bozeman so if you want to get around in the winter, it's all about the AWD. They also allow studded tires there. Subaru + studded tires = wtfomgtraction.

I would love to wake up looking at the mountains. I have relatives there and have thought about moving there except their temps at night at this time of the year are chilly, but the winters aren't as cold either in Denver so its a toss up. Parts of Denver are pretty ghetto and I don't really like the suburbs. I had a ladder get stolen off of my work van within 5-10 minutes of leaving the vehicle near downtown.

Yes. You are all correct. CO = Subaru Paradise. I bought my Legacy from there. 14 years old, >100k miles, no rust, nice paint... at least until the MN hail bashed it all up.

    I see you soon, Sean.
