Well, it's time for a project thread.

Here is my 2005 Legacy GT Wagon. Satin Pearl White, 5MT.

This picture was taken before I had even signed the papers. It was waiting for me to take it home. *luv*

First 'mod' I did to it was disabling the DRLs and got rid of the seat belt time. The method to turn that off is funny. Clicky clicky clicky....

    Anyway, obligatory picture dump.

Current: Waiting on order to arrive from import image. Ordered a Grimmspeed EBCS, Invidia catless DP, Fast Motorsports catback. Have a catless up pipe from KVang performance :p

Parts should arrive no later than wednesday, and will likely be installed the same day or the night before Nuke has time to tune it. I'm HOPING for next weekend, but it's entirely dependent on his availability. Don't worry, he's been PM'd to that effect.

Looking forward to the modification process, and getting back some of the 'ownership' that I felt when I had the audi.

    Thanks for the read!

Nice. You're going to love stage 2. And then you'll get the itch and want to go stage 3 - in which case you might as well buy my vf40 core. :D

Big thanks to my buddy Alex for coming down and helping out with the install. Couldn't have done the up pipe without him.

Sounds great! Tune should hopefully happen today.

So, this thing is loud as hell now...

Is there a way to dampen the noise that I get inside the car? Dynamat on the underbody above the mufflers?

I don't care how loud it is to everyone else, but it might be too loud for me inside the car...

It'll probably mellow out a bit too, but damn.

I've been living with an obnoxiously loud exhaust for a few years on my '05 SWP LGT. It doesn't get better, honestly.

Some LGT guys had good luck with a resonator, soundproof the spare wheel well and beefing up the weather strip/seals on the doors. It may just mellow as you drive it too. Give it a little bit...

Fayul! I don not approve of this message! Get a louder stereo. Rofl

And yes...you can get resinators and have them cut and welded into the system. Or, dynamat...call/text/come knock on mah door and i'll hook you up with my guy. Better save some of them tax monies tho, iz not cheap even with the discount. Or i have earplugs that i can sell you half price!<cheapest of all options.:coffee:
