I stopped by for a little bit and took a few pictures with my point-n-shoot camera. I didn't get everyone, but here's what I have. Full album. http://s139.photobucket.com/albums/q296/joel1024/photos/
Sweet pics man! I had my video cam set up on a tripod just about the whole day recording from different corners. I've got a friend that does professional video editing, and I'm going to see if he could throw something together out of the few hours of footage I've got. I'll keep you guys posted. Also, thanks so much for hosting an awesome event! This was definitely one of the coolest things I've done in quite some time. It was great to meet a lot of you and I hope to see a lot of you again soon!
Yeah, it was fun to stop by and see a bunch of people. It was kinda hard to watch without being able to drive though. Hopefully next season I can do a few events again.
you guys can thank Ryan and his awesome wife erin for taking all these pics!! http://picasaweb.google.com/rkratochvil/RallyCross080710#
Wow those turned out to be really good! I was surprised when those two showed up, was good seeing them.
Well a start: Mayhem car during a lap (not sure which) viewed from the 180 pin turn that I took with my phone. I'll get my in-car vids up soon.
Yes! Anyone got vids of that beast? I was on course for all of them, so I saw most of its sweet sweet action, but I still want vids!
Got my in-car runs uploaded. I figure the important one is the fastest one: 36.602, only about 0.8s slower than the fastest run of the day by Mark at 35.859.
Oh sure it works, but I'm not a fan of those kinds of sites. By the way nice, comprehensive vid of the event.
^Thanks. I would have loved to just mail everybody a dvd with all the footage, but Kevin left his camera in like super HD mode so the files were huge (like 15gb or so). Anyways, thanks to Kevin (kmw1191) for uploading the vid. I'm excited to see the 2nd half lol
Snap! lol. Anyways yes, Erin had a blast shooting pics. She got pretty pissy when people would stand in her shots. She wants to go again, but this time we're bringing the tripod for some blur action shots. Also I'll work more closely with course workers to get good spots to stand for her.
I noticed kevin didn't post this in this thread so here ya go. The second half of the vids I shot. http://www.megaupload.com/?d=2M1MBVTZ
