Alright so what are the numbers? I caught that comment by Rich on the tuning.

 

Ill let Rich explaine but i thought the pump gas numbers were decent, im sure he wanted more but things got complicated

 

just got back! so fun to drive again! was on the dyno for 1 1/2 hours and ran on straight pump. made 408whp and 380-390tq. cant remember? every thing went smoothly except i have to fix my tps censer. but other then that i cant wait to poor in the race gas on the new block. every pond of boost made more and more power.

 

20-22? 15 degrees of timing.

 

Not bad. Now get that motor in so you can double it.


Also, where is said 15 degrees of timing? At spool-up or redline?

part of the reason that i only tuned for 1 1/2 hours is the dyno started to act up? the graph went from a smooth curve the whole time to crazy lines? felt like maybe one of the belts was catching on something? so we stopped and felt that that was good enough. full boost by 4800. dident get a chance to tune the cutout ether. that should help spool and add some power too.

 

So this was all running thru the full exhaust?

 

yep. 3inch all the way. not the best when its a 4 inch v band on the exhaust housing

 

I just got done dynoing 2 cars today and it had no issues. Both smooth graph the whole time. I did notice the dyno had alot of oil from someones car. Its all over the belt and dyno plate.

 

it worked great for about 10-13 pulls and then it was like it was catching on something? afr's were the same with no difference in the runs along with no knock so we figured it to be the dyno? was just on the last two pulls.

 

So when you coming back to reoil the rollers?

 

i checked the car and no oil leak? it stumps me? maybe rich?

Looked under my car and everything is dry, no sign of anything wet.

 

So what was everybody's final numbers from this weekend? Any graph's?

 

every body had problems? i think kellys highest was 320ish. and riches car turned against him all of a sudden. the first day he was kicking ass and made 421 on pump and meth and then the next day with the same map the car wouldn't make 350? something was up with his meth kit. and the rest he can tell you. i will just say it was like a stream of bad luck.
