I just installed an Invidia up pipe and a Cobb cat less down pipe. Well everything went great till I got to connecting the DP to the SPT CB. It doesn't line up, the top of the flange hits before the bottom can seal, It leaks pretty good. I need any suggestions on what I can do.

it doesnt need to... not many other systems do that.. that is done like that so they can bolt up to a stock subaru system...

there is many things you can do.. the cut and reweld is more to straighten the flange.. they do that I am sure to make people buy their cat-back to match... ha ha

I have made a few fixes that work.. there are usually a couple of options.. depends on what you are willing to spend

Try getting everything loose other then those two bolts and then re-torque everything else down. It might straight out a little bit.

I did that like three times, thanks though :)

I'm taking it to a guy I work with who does exhaust, think I'll just have him cut the flange of the DP and reweld it on straight. I stuck a spacer in between the donut gasket and the flange and it seals w/no leaks.;)
