    I have an invidia v2 catless downpipe I was going to install on the car im about to purchase from "paulasaurasREX" along with a 3" grimmspeed downpipe gasket and a grimmspeed turbo gasket... All of these parts are coming with the car, and i was informed it would be wise to get a tune upon install....

    is this everything i would need for the install?? ^^

    so im wondering if Rsmotors would be able to do an install for a Dp and an open ended tune.

    any info would be sweet,

    dan

    Its always good to get a tune, however with different vehicles its more importaint. Ive heard of folks running around with bugeye rexes without tunes for a while, doesnt mean its good for it though.

    Possibly some replacement studs, and almost always new nuts for said studs. (Ronnie should have these) And yes, definitely a tune. Other than that you should be good.

    Might as well add a couple new nuts/bolts for the DP to mid-pipe connection.

    Try installing it yourself if you can, it's not too hard...almost robbery paying for a shop to install those parts for you.

    ALMOST robbery. But then if you run into a problem... suddenly you find yourself driving to NAPA or Home Depot with a terrible exhaust leak.

    But then you have Ronnie looking over your car making sure everything is kosher and you sleep better. Also, you don't have to try and get grease out of your jeans. You get what you pay for.

    open ended tune? :biggrin::laugh:

    Yeah man, sounds like you have all the parts you'll need. You should probably just contact RS directly about scheduling and pricing for an install + tune.

    I also typically strongly recommend a 3-port BCS on all of the 2.0L cars I tune.

    Having someone else put mods on your car, is kinda like having someone else f*ck your wife, and then bragging about it when she is pregnant, haha. But seriously, try it yourself, it is pretty simple, and you will feel all warm and fuzzy inside when you get done
