One thing at a time. We are planning things and will release more info when it's closer to the time for it. Right now there is a swap meet being planned, and Oct is pretty much full at the moment. So we'd be looking at Nov. Someone's working on it.

Ha, I doubt that is possible, considering they've already had freeze watches. You should be used to that sort of weather ;)

How about more driving this year? Less panoramic pictures at skyline parkway.

Oh i'm sorry was last year a Duluth Planned event? If you guys didnt like the event and how things went down thats fine... Plan a cruise on your own.

We "Pussed" out because it was snowing and icy the way up to Black Bear. Kalies car had balding summer tires. I wasnt gonna be the next bugeye rolled in jay cooke.

I went last year. Although cold and icy and passing a fatal crash on the way up, it was worth it. Mainly because there was still fall colors. A november meet would be a little brown in my opinion. I'd go if it was a clear day for weather, but if snow was coming, probably not.

the main reason it is a fall cruse, is for the colors.

yeah but by November and late October there going to be gone ..you have to remember the further you go north the earlier the colors turn plus planning a cruise and giving people less than a month notice= less turnout..just saying.

Plus the leafs are already changing, so planning a cruise around that is pretty unlikely.

I remember the day of the cruise last year very well (even though I wasn't a part of it). We were getting married at Split Rock Lighthouse State Park. We woke up to the first snowfall of the season that morning. Our wedding party was shivering while we were taking pictures.

I remember our guests telling us they saw a whole boatload of Subaru's leaving the park. Too bad you guys didn't stop in and say hi. We were at the trail center in the park.

I think if it were anytime after the first weekend in October it will be too late for good fall colors. If you guys don't mind a little MR2 crusing with you, I might be able to make it this year.
