hey guys! just got my car dynoed today at RS. i got 131.9 hp and 128.2 torque. always wanted to dyno my car before just didnt have time. but i got it dynoed today and tell me is it at where i should be? i got a catback and an injen cai.
Those are some good number for an RS with catback and CAI. Your only 35hp away from a stock WRX. Most Stock RS runs 120's+hp. Great results...
holy crap, pete only put down 128 or maybe 127 with 1000$ cobb headers and the rest of the mods on your car...NICE numbers, maybe the DOHC is better then people think!
thanks guys! i didnt believe it myself cause i remembered pete's old rs #s. but i got the chart to prove it! but the thing that stinks is that when i did the quarter mile on the dyno with two runs all i could do was 17.0. that kind of bummed me out a little. but still happy with my #s. plus i havent cleaned out my air filter yet since last duluth trip through the mud and all. maybe just maybe i can get better numbers with it cleaned too
first of all, is your car running? and if it is congrats man! in a straigh line, probably not. but at a technical course, i'll be up for it. clutch is slipping but it should still be fun!
Better than my RS with I/H/E. :biggrin: I miss the instant throttle response and torque the RS' have. Just doing be running any 17's in the 1/4 mile or else I'll be mad.

those are fong's numbers on his RS...my old RS aka pete's old RS actually made 135ish whp. but man, those are big numbers with just CAI and catback!
