I am torn between E85 tune or larger turbo. I am planning getting more power this spring and two options are Blouch Dom 1.5xtr on pump gas or E-85 with my Hta68 turbo. If I decide on going with corn I will need to get gauges ($600) plus hassle of fill up twice a week and about 340whp/400tq. If I go with 1.5xtr I could get same numbers (less torque) on pump and will not need to spend money for gauges (wideband, oil pressure, boost, gauge pod). I have a 2.5 hybrid built motor.
What would you do? I am just looking for ideas to help me make up my mind.
The money wise it's about $600 more if I go with larger turbo.
    Thanks.

I could do that too. I just think i will get bored with it. I really want to avoid filling up gas twice a week :)

600 for gauges and pod? Pretty sure I can build a carputer for cheaper than that ;)

I agree that you should build incrementally. Pick your supporting mods with headroom. Everyone knows you'll eventually go bigger man lol

I'm sure if you went bigger turbo, you'll be wanting e85 in the next week after that

I do have supporting mods for larger turbo :) I also don't want to cheap out on gauges. Even if I go with prosport it's about $450 with everything.

That's what I am afraid off. I might just find somebody to pump my gas.

It's 2.5 with 2.0 heads. I made around 300 on pump gas at RS. 200 miles is nice but not possible with my driving ;)

E85 on a smaller turbo is way more fun than a larger turbo and pump gas.

It looks like E is the way to go for next year. If I get close to 200miles a tank that would be awesome.
