Ok so currently on my 03 I have an ECUtek Tune. I am switching EM to COBB ap. I dont want to flash over the ecutek so I am buying a different ecu. Ok so Here are my two options currently because I havent been able to find an 03 ecu. Either a 2002 ecu and a 2004 ecu. Will both work or is one better than the other. Nasioc didnt have a whole lot other than that i did see that someone else with a 03 was using a 2002 ecu. But the 04 I am currently bidding on is cheaper. So wondering if the 04 will be able to use it. The 2002 ecu code is AF423 The 2004 ecu code is AH791 Or if I do get a 2004 ecu can I bring it to a Subaru Dealership and Flash it to the stock 03 map? Thanks in advance. Also What do you guys think of the Utec? Just curious
Grab the 02 ecu, you can flash the 03 rom onto it I believe and it'll be a 2003 ecu. I've flashed someone's car before, it was an 02 with an 03 ecu and I put on an 02 rom onto it and worked fine.
